## Plain-English summary

You buy a hefty pack — a fixed amount of data, calls, and texts for a fixed number of months. We turn it on. When the pack ends, it ends. No contracts. No surprise charges. If you don't like it, you don't owe us anything for next month. Simple.

## 1. Service

Hefty is a digital-only mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) operating in Australia and New Zealand. We resell mobile services from a wholesale carrier (named on the coverage page). Service quality depends on that carrier's network coverage.

## 2. Plans and packs

Plans are listed in the app and on hefty.pushstack.io/plans. We sell three plans (Light / Mid / Heavy) in four pack lengths (1, 3, 6, 12 months). Pricing is per-month with a clearly shown upfront total. Unused data rolls into "the Vault" for the duration of your pack.

## 3. Payment

Payment is upfront for the full pack term (Stripe will be the payment processor in MVP-2). We do not auto-renew unless you explicitly opt in. We charge in AUD (and NZD when NZ is enabled — date TBA).

## 4. Refunds

- Before activation: full refund within 14 days, no questions.
- After eSIM activation: no refund on prepaid packs (you've already received the service).
- This is consistent with the Australian Consumer Law: nothing here limits your statutory consumer rights.

## 5. Acceptable use

You agree to:
- Use the service for normal personal use.
- Not run a phone farm, a SIM box, or anything that constitutes commercial reselling without prior written agreement.
- Comply with the wholesale carrier's terms (passed through to you).

We may suspend service for fraud, threats to network integrity, or abuse — we'll tell you why and let you fix it where possible.

## 6. Cancellation and termination

You can cancel at any time. Your active pack runs to its expiry. You can request your number be ported out at any time. We don't make porting hard.

## 7. Service changes

We may update prices for new packs (existing packs are honored at the price you bought them at). We'll give 30 days' notice for material changes.

## 8. Liability

Service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we're not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from network outages, the wholesale carrier's actions, or third-party hardware (your phone). Nothing in this clause limits your statutory consumer rights.

## 9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes go to the courts of NSW. (NZ users retain rights under the NZ Consumer Guarantees Act.)
